Error
Description
Extra thickness shows on the letters of EPU, the dots, both wheat ears, the stems, and the outermost letters of USA. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: A small die gouge can be found between the upper I and B of LIBERTY. Obverse Stage B: There is a light die crack on the base of the bust turning towards the rim before reaching the fold. There is a heavy die chip on the bust at the point where the die crack turns toward the rim. Reverse Stage A: There is a small die gouge inside the A of STATES running south from the top of the A. Reverse Stage B: A die crack runs from the right wheat ear to the rim at about 3:30. A die crack runs NNE from the upper center of the E in ONE between the U and N of UNUM to the rim. A light die scratch runs SSE from the bottom of the C in CENT.
