1904-P VAM-9 Double Profile Discovery 2016 9 III2 8 - C4a (Double Profile) (?) Obverse III2 8 - Slightly doubled profile of Liberty's head from forehead down to neck. Die 1. Die marker - Couple faint vertical polishing lines at bottom of L in LIBERTY. Die 2. Die marker - Vertical bar at jaw-neck junction from die polishing. Reverse C3a - No significant die doubling. Die 1. Die marker - Polishing lines in wing-neck gap of eagle's left wing. Die 2. Die marker - Polishing lines in wing-neck gap of eagle's left wing. Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: On the 1904-P VAM-9 Die #2 there are three very good die markers on the obverse. Polishing lines in ear. Polishing lines below ear lobe. Strong polishing line at the end of the cap ribbon.
