1903-P VAM-20 Doubled Profile and Cap Top, Doubled Reverse Lettering Discovery 2019 by PacificWR. III2 16 - C4m (Doubled Profile and Cap Top, Doubled Rev. Lettering) (189) Obverse III2 16 - Slightly doubled Liberty's profile from hair front down to chin and Phrygian cap top. Die markers - Short gouge between lower lip and top of chin, single diagonal die polishing line inside ear. Some specimens show collar clash on rim with reeding indents at outside edge both from 2-3 o'clock and 9 o'clock. Reverse C4m - Die marker - Fine pitting on eagle. Diagonal die scratch on bottom of fifth tail feather from right. Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: Supersedes 1903-P VAM-1D.
