1902-O VAM-7B Near Date, Doubled Reverse Lettering, High O Tilted Left, Bar O, Clashed Obverse n, Counter Clash Lip, Die Scratch Nose Discovery 2014 7B III2 3 - C4d (Near Date, Doubled Reverse Lettering, High O Tilted Left, Bar O, Clashed Obverse n, Counter Clash Lip, Die Scratch Nose) (179) Obverse III2 3 - - Light polishing lines in fields. Long heavy die scratch from #7 left star to Liberty's lip & two short die scratches in field above 0 of date. Clashed die w/ partial incuse n of In from reverse below lower lip forward edge of jaw & just below corner jaw-neck junction. Die likely retired early. Reverse die that clashed w/ this obverse undetermined. Die marker - Semi-circular thread-like die impression above top cotton leaf. Reverse C4d - Bar O mint mark reverse that is EDS without die clash marks. Emission Sequence Obverse: 1902-O VAM-7B Reverse: 1902-O VAM-7B & 1902-O VAM-7 Comments: This VAM will be elusive for those seeking an example. The exact same obverse die produced 1902-O VAM-7A,1902-O VAM-7 & 1902-O VAM-7C (in that order) but NOT the 1902-O VAM-7B. The exact same reverse die was used to produce the 1902-O VAM-7B & 1902-O VAM-7 (in that order) but NOT the 1902-O VAM-7A & 1902-O VAM-7C.
