1902-O VAM-29 Doubled Ear, 2 Olive Reverse Discovered by Martin Field, September 1979. 29 III2 16-C4/C3n (Doubled Ear, 2 Olive Reverse) (181) Obverse III2 16 - Ear doubled slightly at middle outside. Liberty's profile slightly doubled. First U in PLURIBUS has horizontal die gouge on right side. Reverse C4/C3n - Mint mark set slightly high and tilted slightly to right. Extra olive to right of olive on branch. Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: The exact same pair of dies was used to produce both the 1902-O VAM-29 & 1902-O VAM-29A.
