Description
1902-O VAM-20A Doubled Profile, 2 Olive Reverse, Gouge Wreath Bow Discovery 2011, formerly VAM-81, Leroy revised the listing February 2012. 20A III2-8 - C4/C3m (Doubled Profile, 2 Olive Reverse, Gouge Wreath Bow) (181) Obverse III2-8 - Slightly doubled Phrygian cap top. Date set slightly low and at left side of middle lateral position. Reverse C4/C3m - Two long vertical die scratches above eagle's right leg. Vertical die gouge at right side of wreath bow continuing up to second right tail feather. Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: 1902-O VAM-81 was delisted and became VAM-20A. The V20A is a LDS of the same die marriage as the V20. For some reason the gouges in the bow up to the tail feathers showed up during the life of the die. This VAM is fairly elusive.
