1900-O VAM-7 O/CC Low, Discovered by Francis Klaes, June 1963. Revised August 2015 - thetinman This coin is a Top 100 Morgan VAM. 7 (revised) III2 4 - C3e (O/CC Low, Doubled O & Peripheral Reverse) (181) Obverse III2 4 - Left 0 in date slightly doubled at bottom left outside and top inside. Single faint diagonal clash line at Liberty head neck. Reverse C3e - Centered and upright O mint mark punched over CC. A shallow curved line shows at lower right outside of O and a long curved broken line shows at left outside. Slightly doubled O at top right inside and lower left outside. Peripheral letters and stars doubled toward rim from die re-hubbing, including outside edge of ONE DOLLAR bottom, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA tops, and both stars. U-shaped thread-like die impression at top right of third leaf cluster from top of left wreath. Short vertical clash line well below n of IN on later die states of VAM 7.
