1890-P VAM-4A Doubled 1-90, Denticle Impressions Below Tail Feathers Discovery December,2009 (reported by Brian Raines) 4A III24 · C3a (Doubled 1-90, Denticle Impressions Below Tail Feathers) (189) Obverse III24– 1-90 in date doubled. 1 doubled below upper crossbar as short horizontal spike. 9 strongly doubled at top outside. 0 doubled as long arc at top left outside. Ear doubled at right inside. Reverse C3a- Single row of shallow raised triangle dots below tail feathers, two triangle dots above and two at right side of wreath bow. Same lateral spacing between dots as denticle spacing. DPIS - ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # [[1890-P VAM-4 and [[1890-P VAM-4A were made with the exact same pair of dies. # It appears that [[1890-P VAM-4, [[1890-P VAM-4A and [[1890-P VAM-8 are all the same die pair.
