Description
1890-CC VAM-1B Rusted & Gouged Reverse Discovered by C. Logan McKechnie August 2009. 1B III21 C3a (Rusted & Gouged Reverse) (?) Reverse C3a - Raised dots from rusted die between tail fathers and wreath bow, and above and below olive branch at both ends. Die gouges in field at top ouitside left of wreath bow and below bottom of eagle's right wing. Some fine die scratches on eagle's left wing. DPIS - Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: The lines shown above are much stronger and more pronounced than as depicted above. The gouges and rust pits should be noticable on even the most worn coin.
