1889-P VAM-14A Doubled 18, Tripled 9, Scribbling on Nose, Denticle Impressions TF & Leaf Discovered by Jason Keefer March 2013 14A'' III2 14-C3a (Doubled 18, Tripled 9, Scribbling on Nose, Denticle Impressions TF and Leaf) (190) Obverse III2 14 - 1 doubled below base and left 8 slightly doubled at bottom outside of lower loop. Tripled 9 at top outside. Doubling not as strong as VAM-6. Date at right edge of normal lateral position with slight slant with 9 higher than 1. Light scribbling die scratches on nose in front of eye. Reverse C3a - Two rows of faint raised dots below right tail feathers with denticle spacings. Three raised dots at edge of upper left leaf of first wreath cluster with denticle spacing. Possible die edge curved raised line impression at top of first left leaf cluster.
