1888-S VAM-12A S/S Upper Bar, Pitted Reverse Bow Discovered by C. Logan McKechnie April 2006. Eliminated, same die as VAM-6B . 12A III2 1 · C3d (S/S Upper Bar, Pitted Reverse Bow) (?)'' Obverse III2 1 - Small die gouge in front of eye. Reverse C2d– Raised dots from rusted die on left side of wreath bow, leaves next to bow and in field between ED. image:1888-S_VAM-12A_Pitted_Bow.jpg The pitting on VAM-12A is very similiar to 1888-S VAM-1B.
