1887-S VAM-2A S/S Left, Damaged Denticles Discovery 2010. This coin is a Top 100 Morgan VAM. 2A III210 · C3b (S/S Left, Damaged Denticles) (187) Obverse III210– Damaged denticles below 87 with depressions in field in front of denticle spaces and raised bar in denticle spaces. Reverse C3b– IV S mint mark re-punched with original showing as arcs within top and bottom loops. Damaged denticles below DO in DOLLAR with depressions in field in front of denticle spaces and raised bar in denticle spaces possibly due to dies coming together at edge of denticles.
