Description
Discovery December 2024, Brent Fogelberg 24 III2 19 • C3m (Doubled 18-3, Engraved Leaves) (?) Obverse III2 19 - 1 doubled slightly on surface below upper crossbar, first 8 doubled on surface on left inside of both loops, more strongly on the upper loop, 3 doubled slightly at bottom inside. Rust clump in hair behind ear at edge of lower cotton leaf. ''Die markers'' - Light polishing lines throughout LIBERTY and around cotton bolls. Reverse C3m - S mint mark centered and upright. Re-engraved wreath leaves opposite N in ONE. ''Die markers'' - Dense, light, horizontal polishing lines in wing-neck gap and wreath bow. Comments:
