1882-CC VAM-2C1 Doubled 882, Lip Counter Clash Break Discovery 2010. This coin is a Hit List 40 Morgan VAM. 2C1(revised) III2 2- C3b (Doubled 882, Lip Counter Clash Break) (177) Obverse III2 2 - Die further polished removing polishing lines at neck-jaw junction. Upper lip counter clash progresses from depressed band on coin to full raised die break. Reverse C3b - Die further polished and CC mint mark and In very shallow from weak strikes. Single and double clash vee at top of right wreath. Slightly rotated reverse of 9* CW for this and later 2C2 die states. Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: Right C is clear on this stage. No MPD of 1 present on this stage. No Break has Formed behind Phrygian Cap. Rotated Die at 9 degrees on some specimens.
