1881-P VAM-36 Doubled 18, Upper Left Reverse Discovery June 2022, Jonnie Durham. III2 36 • C3e (Doubled 18, Upper Left Reverse) (?) Obverse III2 36 - First 1 doubled slightly on top right of vertical shaft. First 8 doubled on lower right outside of lower loop, with chip at inside top left of upper loop. Die marker – Diagonal polishing line through lower right of E in LIBERTY. Other polishing lines in LIBERTY and around cotton bolls. Reverse C3f - Light doubling on ED in UNITED, STAT, and In God toward the rim. Die marker – No polishing in wing-neck gap or ribbon bow.
