1878-P VAM-39B Discovered 2018 By Clayton Christiansen This coin is a Hit List 40 Morgan Vam. 39B II 2 - B/Ai (5 TF, Clashed n_t, Polishing Lines Upper Reverse) (179) Reverse B/Ai - Some long isolated polishing lines added primarily at In God We plus a few at lower reverse. DPIS – In 1878 dates were part of the master die so there is no variation in position. Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: All VAM-39s are clashed, and are actually the sub-variety 1878-P VAM-39A or the LDS VAM-39B. VAM 39A has some similar lines around In God, but not as many, and not as strong as seen on VAM 39B.
