Description

Doubling shows on the bottom end of the third feather on the left wind above the ground.Die Markers: Obverse: Long die crack across the base of the bust. Thin die scratch extends NE from the top of the T in LIBERTY. NW/SE die scratch below the chin. Large die gouges left and right of the first T in TRUST. Large die gouge right of the R in AMERICA. Large die gouge far left of the U in UNITED. Die gouge above and between the last R in QUARTER and the D in DOLLAR. Reverse: Die chip under the top feather on the bird's back with a die crack that extends into the tail feathers. Die gouge at the roof of the building. Die gouge near the outer ring left of the building. Large die gouge above the last C in the designer's initials CTC. Die gouge near the outer ring above the designer's initials CTC. The original WDDR-011 was found to be a duplicate of WDDR-008. Obverse: A short die gouge can be found just below the B in LIBERTY. A short die gouge can be found just below the first A in AMERICA. A short vertical die gouge can be found between the centers of the L and A in DOLLAR. Reverse: A short die gouge extends NE from the top right of the second C in the designer’s initials CTC.
