2016 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-007

Description

This 2016 Cumberland Gap National Historical Park Quarter doubled die reverse is cataloged as WDDR-007 in the Wexler reference system. Notably, this variety is very similar to WDDR-002 for the same date, but it is definitively a different working die — the distinction rests on unique die markers and subtle differences in doubling characteristics that confirm separate die identities despite the similar appearance of the doubled design elements.
