The 2015 (D) Native American Dollar - Position A represents a Denver Mint issue from the Sacagawea & Native American Dollars 2000 to Date series. The U.S. Mint produced 3.8 million examples, making this the lowest mintage among 4 mint variants, representing only 23% of total production. The obverse features Sacagawea carrying her infant son Jean Baptiste Crapeau on her back and the reverse displays rotating designs honoring Native American contributions to the United States. The 2015 Native American Dollar pays tribute to the Kahnawake and Akwesasne Mohawk ironworkers who helped build New York City's skyscrapers.
