Description

On the iconic American Silver Eagle — the United States Mint's flagship one-ounce bullion coin struck in .999 fine silver since 1986 — WDDR-001 reveals doubling at a precise location on the reverse Statue of Liberty design by John Mercanti: the intersection of the second ray clockwise from Liberty's head and her right arm. This small but diagnostic area shows doubled lines where the ray crosses the arm, providing a focused attribution point.
