The 2013 (D) Presidential Dollar - Woodrow Wilson, Position A represents a Denver Mint issue from the Presidential Dollars 2007 to Date series. The U.S. Mint produced 3.4 million examples, making this the lowest mintage among 16 mint variants, representing only 5% of total production. The obverse features rotating portraits of each U.S. president in order of service, released four per year and the reverse displays the Statue of Liberty. The twenty-eighth President (1913–1921), Woodrow Wilson led the nation through World War I and championed the League of Nations, for which he received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1919.
