2008 Doubled Die Reverse DDR-009

Description

The 2008-P New Mexico State Quarter DDR-009 is cataloged by VarietyVista under die tracking codes UVC-2271 and DMR-013. The doubling manifests as a spread on the Zia Pueblo sun symbol, the central design element of the New Mexico reverse. Stage A (EDS, unconfirmed), Stage B (MDS, confirmed), and Stage C (LDS, unconfirmed) have been recorded, with the middle die state providing the best-confirmed examples. The New Mexico State Quarter was the 47th release in the 50 State Quarters program, issued in 2008.
