Attributed on the 2005 Philadelphia Mint Jefferson Nickel Ocean in View design, WDDR-016 represents one of the doubled die reverse varieties produced during the Westward Journey series that celebrated the Lewis and Clark expedition. The Ocean in View reverse, designed by Joe Fitzgerald, depicts a view of the Pacific coastline with the inscription OCEAN IN VIEW! O!
