Description

Medium spread directed westward on this 2001 Lincoln Memorial cent DDR-026 generates a dramatic visual effect: an extra column number 7 spans from the statue's hand to its knee, and an additional set of knees appears above the normal knee position within the Memorial's interior. VarietyVista assigned this die pair UVC-3271 with die markers reference DMR-028, tracking a three-stage progression. Stage A captures both the reverse and obverse at early die state, representing the freshest impressions from this die pair before cumulative striking wear begins to degrade the finer details. Stages B and C at mid and late die state remain unconfirmed, suggesting either that the die was retired before significant deterioration or that examples from later stages have not yet been reported.
