Description
A close spread towards the center can be found on USA, EPU, ONE CENT, the designer’s initials, the left base of the Memorial, and the first four columns. Die Markers: Obverse: Three die gouges (dots) can be found in a triangular array below the 19 in the date. Reverse: A die gouge (dot) can be found between the O and N of ONE. A cluster of small die gouges can be found inside the O in ONE. Cross-referenced as Crawford: CDDR-001, Coppercoins: 1998P-1DR-001 Comments: The hub marker above N in UNUM is visible.
