1994 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-012
Error
Description
Expanding the doubling footprint beyond the typical two-bay pattern, Wexler WDDR-012 on the 1994 Philadelphia Lincoln cent places extra Memorial columns in bays 9, 10, and 11, with additional doubling to the right of the upper 12th column. The variety also shows doubling on the floor of bays 10 and 11, adding a horizontal element to the vertical column spread. Obverse die markers include a short vertical die gouge above the right side of the T in LIBERTY and a die gouge to the right of the upper E in WE. On the reverse, a die scratch runs north from the top left of the N in UNITED, and a die gouge sits below the right Memorial base. No known cross-references exist beyond the Wexler designation. Cross-referenced as Wexler Variety ID 1994 1¢ WDDR-012.
