Description

The 1992 (W) Christopher Columbus Quincentenary Commemorative Five Dollar Gold is a commemorative dollar struck at the West Point Mint. With a mintage of 24,329, this is a scarce commemorative issue. The gold coin in the 1992 Columbus Quincentenary program, this $5 piece features Columbus gazing toward the Americas he helped connect to Europe.
