Description
The 1982 (D) Lincoln Memorial Cent - Small Date Bronze is a cent produced at the Denver Mint as part of the Lincoln Memorial Cents 1959-2008 series. The obverse features Abraham Lincoln facing right and the reverse displays the Lincoln Memorial building in Washington, D.C.. Transitional year: seven varieties exist with combinations of large date/small date and bronze/zinc compositions in both Philadelphia and Denver production. Struck at the Denver Mint, established in 1906 from an earlier assay office that processed Colorado gold rush metal. Estimated market value ranges from $0 to $1 depending on grade and condition. Struck in bronze, weighing 3.2 grams, 19 mm in diameter, with a plain edge.
