Reverse markers: die gouge right of M of UNUM; die gouge inside upper right portion of M of UNUM; die scratch on rim above UM of UNUM. Obverse: none noted. Cross-referenced as Wexler Variety ID: 1969-S WDDR-042 Proof, attributed by Brian Ribar. San Francisco produced over 2.93 million proof sets in 1969, and the large proof population has enabled researchers to identify more than forty DDRs across these carefully struck specimens.
