Exhibiting a spread towards the center on UNITED, ONE CENT, and the designer's initials FG, the 1961 Proof Lincoln Memorial Cent WDDR-007 is a Class II distorted hub doubling variety whose centripetal displacement affects three separate inscription areas on the reverse. The involvement of both the upper legend (UNITED) and the central denomination (ONE CENT) alongside the designer's initials suggests that the hub distortion during the secondary impression was broad enough to register across multiple vertical zones of the die face. No significant obverse die markers have been noted, but the reverse carries a distinctive diagnostic: a small die gouge in the form of a dot below the left side of the U in UNITED.
