Description
The 1960 (D) Lincoln Memorial Cent - D/D Small/Large Date is a cent produced at the Denver Mint as part of the Lincoln Memorial Cents 1959-2008 series. The obverse features Abraham Lincoln facing right and the reverse displays the Lincoln Memorial building in Washington, D.C.. Both large date and small date varieties exist from Philadelphia and Denver, creating four collectible variants. Struck at the Denver Mint, established in 1906 from an earlier assay office that processed Colorado gold rush metal. Estimated market value ranges from $207 to $407 depending on grade and condition. Struck in 95% copper, 5% tin and zinc, weighing 3.11 grams, 19 mm in diameter, with a plain edge. Cataloged as PCGS #82867.
