Error
Description
Central doubling shows on the left side of the upper bell structure, the left side of the upper bell supports, and along the bottom of the bell. Die Markers: Obverse: A small die gouge can be found to the right of the bottom of the vertical bar of the R in LIBERTY. Two small die gouges can be found in the field to the right of the lower nose. Reverse: Two short, parallel die scratches run SSE from the bottom of the 2nd U in UNUM. Short die scratches run south from the bottom right R and the bottom of the I in PLURIBUS. A die scratch runs from north to south through the E in EPU. A die scratch runs from SW to NE above the O in DOLLAR. Several die scratches run from SW to NE through the lettering on the upper bell.
