Fourth doubled die reverse for the 1941 Philadelphia Mint Lincoln Wheat Cent, WDDR-004 occupies an early position in the documented sequence of hub doubling varieties for this prolific pre-war date. The lower sequence number often correlates with earlier discovery, and in many cases with more prominent doubling that attracted researcher attention before subtler varieties were identified in subsequent examinations.
