Error
Description
Strong Class VI extra thickness shows on EPU and the dots. A Class II spread towards the center shows on both wheat ears. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: A die crack runs across the base of the bust above the designer’s initials. A die crack runs somewhat parallel to the base of the bust on the right side of the bust. Obverse Stage B: Both die cracks are stronger. Reverse Stage A: A die scratch runs NNE from the top of the horizontal bar of the l in PLURIBUS. A die scratch runs SSE from the top right of the 1st U in UNUM. A die gouge can be found to the right of the top of the right wheat ear. Reverse Stage B: A die crack runs NW from the rim at about 3:00 through the wheat lines on the upper right wheat ear.
