About This Series

Marking the centennial of the pivotal 1921 transition when the Morgan dollar concluded and the Peace dollar debuted, this program recreates both designs in .999 fine silver rather than the original .900 composition. The 2021 issues reproduced George T. Morgan's Liberty Head and heraldic eagle alongside Anthony de Francisci's Peace dollar with its radiant-crowned Liberty. Morgan dollar commemoratives were struck at Philadelphia, Denver (D), San Francisco (S), and with Carson City (CC) and New Orleans (O) privy marks since those historic facilities no longer operate. Each coin contains one troy ounce of silver at 38.1 mm diameter and 31.103 grams. The program extended beyond the centennial year with additional Morgan issues from various historic locations. Household ordering limits and strong demand created an active secondary market, with certain variants commanding premiums. The series bridges nostalgia with modern bullion collecting, appealing to traditional Morgan and Peace enthusiasts alongside silver investors seeking recognized historical designs.
