1908-D Misplaced Date WMPD-001

Description

This 1908 Denver Mint Barber Dime carries a misplaced date error, cataloged as Wexler WMPD-001 and cross-referenced as Flynn MPD-001. Misplaced dates occur when date digits are initially punched into the wrong area of the die and then corrected by punching them in the proper position, leaving traces of the original misplaced impressions visible on struck coins.
