1907 Indian Head Cent Strike Through and Repunched Date FS-303
Error
Description
This 1907 Indian Head cent displays a strike through error on the reverse combined with a repunched date (FS-303). The strike through runs from 7:30 on the rim through the denticles eastward to just before the wreath on the reverse, leaving an incuse impression where foreign material was trapped between the die and planchet during striking. This coin was struck from the same FS-303 RPD die that shows the 190 punched southeast of the final date, making it a dual-error piece combining a planchet-related error with a die-preparation variety.
