Description

A medal from the Philadelphia Mint, the (1796) Bronze Medal Castorland - Original Reeded Edge belongs to the Post-1776 Private and Regional Issues (1778-1820) series. Produced during the earliest years of the United States Mint, when the young republic was establishing its monetary system and coinage traditions.
