The 1792 Cent Patterns is a United States cent from the Early Republic Patterns (1792-1859) series — the first year of the series. In 1792, coins were struck at the Philadelphia Mint. Produced during the earliest years of the United States Mint, when the young republic was establishing its monetary system and coinage traditions.
